UPDATE: I contacted the seller and they responded quickly and turned my disappointment into a satisfied customer. As I mention in my original review below, I have purchased several drives from this company and all but this item worked great.

I have purchased several SamData external drives before and all worked great. I purchased a larger capacity drive and it is faulty. It keeps flashing a light inside the drive and the cursor is stuck in a perpetual swirl. I have to force quit Finder and pull the drive out without a proper eject.
Now, I've wasted my money because Amazon is requiring me to send this $7.99 dud back to get a replacement. That's not going to happen because I have no idea what is on the drive and I'm not risking sending back a drive with anything one it.
I'm mad as you-know-where.
